Bachelor's degree in Business Administration with focus on Accounting from California State University of Los Angeles. 

I have more than 15 years of experience working as a production accountant in the film/television production industry. I have worked on high-budget shows ranging from multi-cam to original movies for multiple studios, including WB, ABC, Amazon, Netflix, and Paramount Studios. In addition to my expertise in production accounting, I have served in diverse roles, including line and coordinating producer, segment producer, director, and UPM on several reality shows.  This dual expertise allows me to approach production challenges with a well-rounded perspective, contributing to both the financial success and smooth execution of projects. Some key duties I have successfully performed include: 

• developed and managed production budgets, working closely with the production team to allocate funds for various aspects such as pre-production, filming, and post-production 
• provided real-time daily updates on expenditures during filming, commonly known as "hot costs." 
• tracked and reported all production-related costs, ensuring that expenditures align with the approved budget
• worked closely with producers on projecting estimated final costs
• managed daily cash flow
• supervised staff of at least 7+ assistant accountants and clerks
• approved accounts payable by verifying expenses and account coding 
• supervised payroll for writers, producers, talents and production set employees
• liaised with studio execs, producers, agents, crew, and vendors
• ensured all the appropriate SAG, WGA, DGA, and IA contracts were in place prior to shooting
• worked closely with Business Affairs on the accuracy of all the ATL deals
• created payment schedules for Writers, Actors, and Directors
• set up bank accounts 
• helped with independent audits including insurance claims and tax incentives tagging
• set up and managed production accounting software systems
• created final costing reports for the entire project

I possess proficiency in a range of production-related tasks, including production budgeting, cost projection and reporting, hot costing, cash flow management, payroll processing, as well as Accounts Payable and PCard processing. My skill set extends to working with industry-standard tools such as Movie Magic Budget, PSL, Smart Accounting, Smart Time, Showbiz Timecards, and software applications like Excel, Docusign, and Adobe Sign.
